It's what's inside that counts: 1983 911 SC

January 31, 2016 porsche, 911, track

Our interest in Porsches from the 80's usually leans towards cars with driveshafts, but this "modified" 1983 SC has us intrigued. We'll be the first to admin that we are suckers for ducktails and that's what originally brought this 1983 911 SC to our attention.

$6K, 6 Cylinder, 6-Speed: 2005 Porsche Cayenne

August 19, 2016 porsche, awd

Cars this new generally aren't of interest to us, and we've never been fans of the Cayenne in any real way. Putting that aside, the rare 6-speed combined with a rock bottom price is enticing. If you’re so inclined, you really could get a lot of headache for your money here.

Too Nice to Drive? 1990 VW Corrado G60

We featured a Corrado not too long ago, but we would be remiss not to share this example which we'd guess is one of the lowest mileage examples in existence. The dealer seems to have a cache of Corrado’s but this one stands out with it’s 500-miles-per-year duty cycle.

OCD Level Work: 1995 Range Rover

This 1995 Range Rover is a final year model, and even though it has 167,000 miles, it looks like nearly showroom new thanks to a thoughtful owners and an impressive restoration. Top that with our favorite Cornish Cream color and we're wondering how many of our current cars we would need to sell to bring this Rover home.

Clean Cruiser: 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60

The seller of this 1985 FJ60 is a Land Cruiser enthusiast and needs to thin out his herd of 4x4's a bit. This no reserve auction could be a good chance to pick up a clean, high-ish mileage FJ that has some interesting options and additions.

Roster Checker: 1994 Land Rover Range Rover

September 20, 2016 range rover, land rover

There are classic Range Rovers on lots of rosters here, and though this one isn't anything particularly special, the price is right, it's nearby, and looks reasonably clean. If the price stays low it might be a great way to put a classic 4x4 in your garage and check a vehicle off of your roster.

Jim's Jeep: 1981 Jeep Wagoneer

January 04, 2017 jeep, wagoneer, 4x4

We've got vintage 4X4's on the brain as of late. We know that winter isn't the time to be buying them, nor the time to be selling coupes to make garage space, but such is the Moto Roster syndrome. This 1981 Wagoneer is scruffy, but clean (for Western, PA at least) and is billed as the personal vehicle of a local, somewhat-eccentric car dealer (the aforementioned Jim).

Alaskan Loophole: 1997 Toyota Celica Alltrac

October 04, 2016 toyota, alltrac, awd

These third generation Celica's never really thrilled us, but anytime the Alltrac badge makes an appearance you have our attention. Against some odds this one has ended up with a valid Alaskan title - apparently thanks to a Japanese diplomat. We're not sure if diplomatic immunity will apply in the lower 48 but color us interested.

Perfect Spanish Storm: 1983 Land Rover Santana

February 21, 2016 4x4, santana, land rover

We featured another Spanish import from Valencia Classic Vehicles last week and mentioned that we were initially drawn to a different truck that had already found a buyer. That guy backed out, but his loss could be your gain. 4 doors, seating for 9, a turbo on the diesel, and LHD add up to a perfect Rover in our book. Add to that Warwick Green with Alaskan White paint and a through refreshing and we're trying to figure out how to make room in our garage for this rig.

4Motion Diesel Import: 2000 Volkswagen Golf

July 28, 2016 vw, AWD, golf

At first we thought that someone just decided to throw a 4Motion badge on an old Mk4 Golf, but upon further inspection this one looks like the real deal with all the right Euro bits. It has been legally imported to Canada and we're not sure what it would take to get it plates in the states, but we like the idea of this AWD diesel hatch as a base for all kinds of fun.
