There are classic Range Rovers on lots of rosters here, and though this one isn't anything particularly special, the price is right, it's nearby, and looks reasonably clean. If the price stays low it might be a great way to put a classic 4x4 in your garage and check a vehicle off of your roster.
This 1994 Range Rover has accumulated 150,000 miles and 4 owners in its life and looks like it has managed to remain relatively unscathed. Records show that up until 2 years ago it was living in Oregon and Washington state.
The interior looks slightly dingy but complete, and the exterior has survived with minimal issue thanks to the Pacific Northwest climate and kind road treatment. The vehicle is said to have "very little or minimal rust."
The air suspension has been replaced with springs but no details are given about particulars. It may be the angle that the car is parked, but it looks to be riding a bit high in the front.
New Pirelli tires would not have been cheap so it could be a good indication that this vehicle has been taken care of -- or maybe they were just on sale at Tire Rack. A new battery and alternator are also a nice bonus on a car that is looking to sell for sub-3k.
On the questionable side, a serious looking stereo amp is shown in the back. It looks to be pretty neatly installed so hopefully it can be easily removed. The grill lights and third brake light are also said to be out of order which makes us think that there has been some electrical monkeying around. If you're up for some exploration with a multimeter, or can live with it then no big deal.
Lastly, some zooming in shows PA inspection stickers from 2014. So, either this car hasn't been on the road lately, it has been running illegally, or these photos are old. We're fine with an owner flaunting the laws of the Commonwealth, so long as it's a matter of conviction (or laziness) and not one of something preventing this truck from passing inspection.
Bidding is at $2,125 with about 2 days left. If it stays under 3, we'll be wishing we had room to bring this classic home. It's right across the river from Moto Roster HQ so if someone wants us to pick it up for them, we're more than happy to do so.
