This 3/4 ton IH looks sweet with only 2 owners and 43,000 California miles on it. It has received a good amount of service to make it (dirt) roadworthy and the wooden bed is ranch-appropriate as it looks like it was constructed out of lumber and hardware from a broken gate.
These 1200's are a great size and offer good power with the 304 V8 matched to the 4 speed and the 4x4 brings some more practicality to the equation. The homemade wooden bed probably wouldn't last too long under "real use" but we'd keep it as long as it stayed together.
The current owner performed a thorough refreshing including: a complete tune up, new fuel system with a rebuilt carburetor, new brake lines, new brake and clutch masters, and all new brakes. Both fuel tanks were also pulled and cleaned though only one is currently hooked up.
Big 16x9 tires look great on black rums and the stance looks good. The seller mentions adding 2 inch shackles on the front to "level the truck" -- we're not sure why that was necessary but it's hard to argue with the results.
Inside things look factory fresh with a new headliner, upholstery, and carpet.
The seller points out some rust on the fire wall and mentions that the driver's side floor has had some new steel put in place though no shots are shown. Undercoating is nice so long as it's not hiding any nasty surprises.
Bidding on this one is fast and furious, and if we were a little closer to Chico we'd be in on it.
