We normally see these with about 5x as many miles, so this 1995 Toyota Tacoma with only 41k miles seems to have led a pampered Pacific Northwest life.
The Xtra Cab models have hit or miss styling with their awkwardly proportioned rear window, but we have come to appreciate it 20 years on. This one is the definition of mint with great looking paint, a pristine interior, and chrome that looks factory-new. We've forgotten what the factory graphics looked like because we're so used to seeing them beyond faded.
The V6 mated to a 5 speed makes this a great all around performer. A slight lift thanks to Rancho shocks and BFGs on aftermarket wheels are all period correct mods that we wholeheartedly agree with. Though it looks high quality, we'd probably lose the brush guard to keep things a bit more subtle. The factory towing package is nice addition that nicely integrates into the rear.
Photos of the frame are so clean we wonder if this truck somehow racked up its mileage indoors. No mention is made of a factory frame replacement but it almost has to be the case.
The interior is beyond clean, even underneath the floor mats. An aftermarket pop-up sunroof is the only thing we don't like here, but it's actually in keeping with period mods. If it is leak free as the seller claims, then no harm.
The only question here is price. The eBay Auction is at $4,500 with 6 days remaining and the reserve not met. We expect the price on this one to double, and we wouldn't be surprised if it broke $10,000. At that price, it's too much for us given how we'd use it but we think it's worth it.
