This 1976 911 S has deviated a fair bit from stock, but in a good way as far as we're concerned. The 2.7 liter motor has been replaced with the 3.0 from a later SC while retaining the 915 gearbox, and cosmetically a very light "R Gruppe" look has been attempted. The real draw here though is the $26,500 price tag attached to what sounds like a lot of air cooled fun.

Even with its extended wheelbase and W12 badges, this 2005 Audi doesn't immediately belie the fact that it has 450 HP under the hood and can move its heft from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds. 12 years after it originally sold for nearly $130,000 it's on offer for $23,500 with a 2 year warranty.

This 1966 Porsche 912 is currently wearing Martini livery but there is some "go" to back up the "show." A 2110cc motor fed by dual Webers puts out an owner claimed 140 HP. As with most of the cars that come and go through the Moto Roster garage, we miss our 912. We can only imagine how it would have been with twice the horsepower and a shorter wheelbase like this specimen.

Usually, a snorkel and diamond plate cladding on a "Defender" is enough to turn us away -- not to mention the price that these newer trucks command. This 110 pickup however has enough going for it to make us take a second look and pretend that we're in the market for a 30k truck. Is this one the real deal, or is it just $5,000 worth of paint and tires hiding much more trouble?

Sporting an automatic transmission and lacking the Quattro and turbo of its fancier CS brother, this stripped-down avant might seem like an easy pass at first. Upon further review though, the sleek lines, red paint, and cheap price make us think this 5000 would be a great alternative to something more pedestrian like a 740 if you're in the market for an 80's Euro wagon.
